Continuously mentoring many teacher-mentees

The mark of a teacher is the ability to define his/her rightful place in the field of teaching. He/she has to prove ability and competence to do the job and win the respects and admirations of learners, fellow teachers, immediate superiors and school authorities. However, over and above it all is the ability of a teacher to become a mentor of mentors.

Mentoring fellow teachers is another aspect of teaching that Fred has proven capable of doing and just performs it as a part of his regular job. Knowledge is power and sharing it more to others gives one who does it “more power and knowledge.”

The teacher-mentor’s ability to introduce innovations and modifications to facilitate the teaching work truly enables fellow teachers to change their teaching approaches and strategies which make mentoring teachers not everybody’s world and sphere.Teacher who teaches learners/students to become knowledgeable, skillful and become well behaved and virtuous changes the lives of the learners. He/she is the learner’s life changer.

Mentors may be few in a hundred of teachers but there is a need to continuously mentor the many teachers in a school and within the schools division of a city or province.
